Tiny Hero: Tardigrade to the Rescue!

I worked on game design, user flow, level design, wireframing, illustrations, concept, character animations, UI design, and copywriting

Tiny Hero is an iPad platformer with puzzle elements set in a future where pollution and global warming have drastically changed the planet.

You play as a tardigrade returning to Earth to celebrate its birthday, only to find pools evaporated, unbearable heat, and a collapsing ecosystem. Along the way, you face challenges like feeding a plastic-eating worm, reuniting oxygen-producing bacteria, and planting resilient seeds to restore vegetation. The game emphasizes that there’s still time to act—and if even a tardigrade can tackle climate collapse, so can we.

This was my first experience with game design, as well as UX/UI for games. In just over a month, I worked on every stage of the project, including GDD, concept, animations, UI, and story creation.

Working on Tiny Hero was an opportunity to learn the process of creating games firsthand, from developing the concept to final execution.
